The creation of a Planning COE will drive efficiencies and enable productivity gains across the organization. Centralization is not just a single co-located team or systems, it is a set of common practices, end-to-end processes with clear roles & responsibilities, common systems and data sources, and a defined operating model/structure.

This person will spearhead the development and execution of strategies to enhance workforce forecast capabilities by partnering closely with the People Team and will design and implement end-to-end connected processes across headcount, workforce planning, and related domains, driving innovation and excellence in our planning methodologies. This role will require close partnership with FP&A to link Visa's workforce strategy to measurable financial impacts across Visa-wide.

Develop and manage models for scaled headcount (e.g., Customer Service, Shared Services Centers), program resource planning (e.g., Technology), and revenue-related resource planning, ensuring seamless integration with related systems and processes.
  • Headcount Data Management: Lead the strategy for headcount data cleansing and ensure accuracy within the financial system. Establish and enforce robust reporting, data governance, and quality control processes for all headcount data to support financial planning.
  • Innovation and Best Practices: Design and establish end-to-end connected processes across headcount, workforce planning, and related functions. Implement seamless workflows that integrate various planning domains to ensure efficiency and accuracy in workforce management. Continuously evaluate and refine processes to adapt to organizational changes and emerging best practices.
  • Model Development and Data Management: Spearhead the development, management, and reporting of models for all revenue-related resourcing, including advisory services and marketing development funds. Design and implement advanced models and allocation methodologies for Shared Services Center (SSC) solutions and collaborate with Real Estate for effective demand planning.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the Planning COE liaison, facilitating effective cross-functional collaboration.
