Position Overview:
This position is supervisory and has direct reports. The role oversees a SitusAMC Product Delivery Team which encompasses software development, architecture, and quality assurance. The role partners with the senior management team to align the technological ecosystem to the SitusAMC Corporate and Technology strategic roadmaps. This position builds and enhances the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and procedures to support business needs, promotes, and implements best practices and is responsible for high level technical decisions. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of quality software solutions to SitusAMC and our clients.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide leadership to global teams of technology professionals supporting software development, architecture, quality assurance and client delivery; creating a culture that allows for the appropriate level of autonomy and accountability within teams
Aligns development priorities to business roadmap and effectively communicates direction to appropriate teams. Drive workforce planning to ensure teams have the necessary resources and training to deliver strategic and operating goals
Identify opportunities to maximizes organizational structure and engagement efforts to optimize talent, build bench strength, and retain key players to support future growth in alignment with SitusAMC priorities
Partner with HR to ensure consistency and sharing of learnings across technology teams, looking for opportunities to unify job roles & descriptions, pay-scales, titling, banding, and establishing best practices for recruitment of staff across the technology function
Lead the creation and management of department wide objectives, initiatives, and goals; ensuring measures of success are defined and tracked.
Review Project plans to identify areas of risk and opportunity between capacity supply and demand across teams, establishing mitigation and contingency plans as necessary. Maintain an accurate view of capacity at all times, ensuring the timely identification of potential issues
As part of technology leadership, strive for continuous improvement in our processes and procedures; propose and implement changes to ensure a productive and efficient organization, in partnership with the wider team
Establish best practices and processes for delivery and governance that will support appropriate reporting throughout the organization
Operational Oversight of a Software Development organization including budget management
Provide reporting to executive committee and lateral teams regarding the performance of the software development organization, client deliverables, and escalations
Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience that is required for the specific job level
Minimum 15+ years progressive experience in Software Development, preferably in a SAAS and Shared Service model
Minimum 5 years of experience managing high performing global teams; including work force planning and performance management
Experience driving operational change through continuous improvement and innovation
Experience expanding and maturing agile development practices
Experience providing high level technical direction and business alignment
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships at all levels of the organization, building consensus and leading through influence
Take end-to-end ownership of software delivery and customer escalations, working with project and technical leads as necessary.
Proactive problem solving at both the strategic and functional levels
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
Strong technical capability
Management skills: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
Special Requirements:
The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment
Working Conditions:
Office environment with frequent computer, mouse, keyboard use
Alternating between sitting or standing as needed

The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($185,000 - $200,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
