Job Grade: M3-1

Director, Strategic Delivery & Growth

The Director of Strategic Delivery and Growth must be an adept leader, utilizing their expertise in Research and Development, Therapeutic Areas, and operational study execution. This involves initiating early client engagements, analyzing external and internal data sources to create efficient and cost-effective operational strategies, overseeing post-award strategy implementation and study progress against milestones, and actively contributing to enterprise-wide business initiatives. They must cultivate robust client relationships and establish themselves as an industry authority both internally and externally.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

Commercial

Extensive pharmaceutical development expertise, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics and client needs.
Presents the organization's capabilities effectively to clients.
Drives growth within Fortrea.
Designs comprehenisve trial strategies and solutions for market differentiation and profitability.
Advocates for and fosters client relationships at senior levels.
Leads innovative business development strategies.
Enhances Fortrea's visibility through publications and presentations.
Operational

Understands operational requirements for strategy implementation.
Oversees strategy execution post-award.
Utilizes metrics for strategy compliance.
Contributes to quality control and risk assurance.
Implements process improvements and lessons learned.
Supports project performance indicators.
Leadership

Collaborates with Fortrea's leadership on business initiatives.
Implements company and department vision and strategy.
Fosters a culture of ownership and accountability.
Leads effectively in a global environment.
Contributes to talent development and mentorship.
Subject Matter Expertise

Provides commercial and scientific leadership.
Ensures training development and delivery.
Engages in continuous learning opportunities.
Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required.
Advance degree, PhD and/or MBA preferred.
Minimum Requirements:

5 or more years of research and development and clinical research experience (pharmaceutical or biotech and CRO) & prefer Project Management Leadership
Experience with client relationships and understanding of business development.
Abilities to review/analyze relevant data so as to build evidence-based clinical trial strategies.
Strong networking abilities and an ability/willingness to work with individuals across the globe.
Strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
Financial acumen in understanding and effectively contributing to a competitive study or program strategy which is profitable.
Therapeutic Expertise Required
Strong expertise in Neuroscience, in-depth knowledge of assessments used in neurological and psychiatric trials, most importantly within neurodegenerative, neuro-vascular, neuro-immunology, behavioral diseases and mood disorders. Proficient in innovative approaches in clinical trials in neuroscience areas.

Pay Range:

130,000 - 185,000
