Director of Surgical Services & Perioperative Operations

We're seeking an experienced, dynamic Director of Surgical Services to lead our state-of-the-art perioperative department. In this pivotal leadership role, you'll oversee all aspects of surgical operations while driving excellence in patient care, team development, and operational efficiency. This position offers full oversight of the perioperative environment with 24/7 accountability.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all perioperative services, including pre-op, OR, PACU, and sterile processing
• Drive operational excellence through strategic planning, quality metrics, and process improvement
• Develop and mentor a high-performing surgical services team
• Manage departmental budget and resource allocation
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
• Build strong relationships with surgeons, staff, and hospital leadership
• Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes
• Oversee quality initiatives and patient safety programs
• Drive service line growth and program development

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current RN licensure in state of practice
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience in surgical services/OR setting
• Strong financial acumen and business management skills
• Excellence in team leadership and development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration
• CNOR certification
• CSSM certification
• Experience with robotic surgery programs
