Job Description - Director, Talent Development

The world of digital assets is accelerating in speed, magnitude, and complexity, opening the door to new ways for leveraging the blockchain. Fireblocks’ platform and network provide the simplest and most secure way for companies to work with digital assets and it trusted by some of the largest financial institutions, banks, globally-recognized brands, and Web3 companies in the world, including BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, ANZ Bank, Revolut, and thousands more.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Director, Talent Development will lead all learning and organization development activities for Fireblocks globally - drawing on deep learning design/facilitation experience, demonstrated experience in organization development at scale, and substantive subject-matter expertise to create innovative learning and development experiences that produce measurable impact and build upon a development culture at Fireblocks.
What you’ll do:

Provide the day-to-day management of talent development experiences, including overall responsibility for strategy, design, delivery, evaluation, and ongoing relationship management with internal and external collaborators and partners
Consult with leadership and People Business Partners to understand and address development needs, identifies appropriate sponsorship for initiatives and programs, and ensures alignment with business partners
Provide both strategic and operational support for a mix of innovative development, teaming, and coaching programs, including budget, vendor, and partner management
Develop specific evaluation and assessment tools to measure impact, including: business results, ROI, enhanced talent pipeline, and improved behaviors clearly proven
Drive continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and scalability of development initiatives
Develop and maintains learning assets, curriculum, and an array of executive development standard methodologies that align with organizational goals and values
Leads multi-stakeholder special projects as needed, including developing project teams, handling priorities, and delivering results

Qualifications:

Demonstrated senior leadership development subject matter expertise
Master’s degree or graduate certificate in Business Administration, Leadership/Organization Development (OD), or equivalent experience
10+ years of dynamic Leadership/OD/OE experience within large organizations or equally sophisticated environments
Expert facilitator capable of consistently and optimally influencing senior leaders
Deep knowledge of leadership and organization development, change theories, learning models and standard processes, instructional design strategies, and learning assessment
Extensive experience delivering leadership development programs and courses in multiple modalities, including high-touch face-to-face and live-online using a variety of technologies.
Ability to establish a strong presence with leaders at all levels
Track record of driving positive organizational change in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, influencing, and partner leadership skills
Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
For employees hired to work remotely from New York, or from our NYC HQ, Fireblocks is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range is specific to New York City, and takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are reviewed when making a hiring decision, such as years of experience, skills, and other business needs.

It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and each compensation decision is dependent on each individual case. A reasonable base salary range estimate for this position is 203,000-266,000. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which for some roles may include a target bonus, a very competitive equity grant, and very generous benefits.
