The Director, Technology & Digital oversees all aspects of technology and digital for the Disney Vacation Club business, and reports to the Vice President of Technology & Digital for the portfolio of Disney Signature Experiences businesses.

What You Will Do
The role is responsible for the strategic vision, planning, and execution of scalable, reliable, and innovative technology solutions for Disney's vacation ownership business.
As a member of the DVC Steering Committee, you will work closely with business and functional executives to develop a technology strategy that aligns with the goals and objectives of the business.

Responsibilities
Strategy - define a comprehensive technology & digital strategy that achieves business objectives, while aligning with core platforms and capabilities.
Digital Transformation - lead the organization's digital transformation and lead generation initiatives, inclusive of accountability for the DVC.com online channel.
Innovation - set the innovation agenda for the business, piloting key emerging technologies that future ready the business.
Team Leadership - hire, lead, and develop a cross-functional team of technology and digital professionals. Lead with an inclusive mindset and establish a culture of trust, transparency, and collaboration.
Project Delivery - oversee the planning, execution and delivery of a portfolio of capital and expense projects. Take a disciplined approach to managing resources, budgets, and timelines.
Technology Operations - maintain responsibility for day-to-day operation of the technology ecosystem. Proactively manage security vulnerabilities, systems reliability, and incident response. Manage relationships with external vendors providing application support and enhancements.
Portfolio Oversight - accountable for the Technology & Digital budget, inclusive of long term and annual capital and expense planning.
Collaboration - demonstrate a strong collaborative mindset, working effectively across Centers of Excellence providing core platform, commerce, and digital experience expertise.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience

Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 12 years' experience; combined business and digital experience, with 5+ years of leadership or management capacity.

Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Comparable field of study
Leading high performing technology teams designing, developing, and deploying custom and vendor software solutions.
Highly preferred domain expertise in the timeshare or vacation ownership industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated excellence in client/partner relationship management with senior executive audiences.
