Director, Training

Description

The Director, Training will be responsible for supporting oversight of the MIT (Manager in Training) Process. The Training Director will guide MITs and Mentors through the program, fill mentorship gaps as needed, and maintain open communication with Ops/Corp Leadership on the status of our newest recruits while also supporting new manager training companywide.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design, development, and delivery of standard operating procedures by role, training programs, and standards
• Oversee and process requests for new MITs with key corporate department heads and operations leadership
• Ensure and support the coordination of weekly calls with training participants and Mentors.
• Support the evaluation, selection, and training process for MIT Mentors
• In partnership with operations leaders, consistently evaluate, iterate, and innovate learning and training programs to ensure best-in-class offerings that will elevate and simplify the experience.
• Coach, lead, and grow a team of passionate mentors and training team members who help analyze, design, develop, and monitor the success of the training programs.
• Effectively escalate and resolve process delays or training issues.
• Support and facilitate MIT and New Manager candidate’s Evaluations.
• Manage MIT Program data and produce status reports.
• Support interdepartmental initiatives as needed (Training, Quality, HR, etc.)

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field preferred or the equivalent of 5-7 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage operations and consistently meet all KPIs (experience managing multiple accounts preferred)
• Strong knowledge of, and demonstrated alignment with all SBM standard processes
• Expert proficiency with Insite and demonstrated ability to consistently meet data compliance requirements 
• Strong communicator, bother verbal and written – able to verbalize and document constructive criticism in clear, concise manner
• Passion for mentorship – patience and strong interpersonal skills a must
• Demonstrated ability to effectively delegate work and drive compliance
• Detail oriented; strong administrative and time-management skills
• Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills (experience with Smartsheet a plus)
• Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.

Compensation: $250,000 - $275,000 per year
