Job overview 

In this role, you will lead and optimize the sourcing of technical products and services supporting Distributed Antenna System (DAS), in-building wireless, and venue connectivity solutions. You will own commercial strategy, contract negotiation, and supplier performance while ensuring alignment with network deployment plans, financial objectives, and regulatory requirements. Partnering closely with engineering, finance, legal, and network teams, you will translate technical requirements into scalable and cost-effective commercial outcomes. 

What you’ll do 

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for DAS, in-building wireless, and venue connectivity solutions, ensuring cost-effective procurement and quality outcomes. 

• Structure, negotiate, and manage complex commercial agreements with venue owners, carriers, neutral-host providers, and technical suppliers. 

• Oversee supplier selection, rationalization, and performance management to support network expansion and 5G coverage objectives. 

• Drive operational efficiency and transformation initiatives to optimize sourcing processes and support evolving network requirements. 

• Track and manage budgets, schedules, and performance metrics to ensure contractual compliance and delivery against program objectives. 

• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, finance, legal, and network leadership to align sourcing strategies with business goals. 

What you’ll need 

• Expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement of technical products or network services. 

• Strong experience negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts and agreements. 

• Knowledge of DAS, in-building wireless, or venue connectivity technologies and deployment models. 

• Proven ability to manage supplier performance, KPIs, and compliance requirements. 

• Experience driving operational efficiency, transformation, or optimization initiatives. 

• Ability to translate technical and network requirements into commercial and financial outcomes. 

What you’ll bring 

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 

• 10+ years of related experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or commercial leadership roles. 

• Demonstrated success leading large teams, including supervision of managers and senior professionals. 

• Proven ability to design and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organizational objectives. 

• Experience influencing hiring, performance management, promotion, and compensation decisions. 

• Background working in complex, regulated, or highly scaled environments preferred.

Our Director, Strategic Sourcing, earns between $191,400 - $287,200 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
