Disaster Recovery Specialist (REMOTE) - Continuous Learning Opportunities

Disaster Recovery Planner (REMOTE) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client in Newark, NJ.

Pay Rate: $63/hr

What You’ll Be Doing:

• This position is for a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planner. The role entails developing a disaster recovery for multiple systems of which some are integrated with other systems and a business continuity plan that covers all aspects of standard business continuity plans. The individual will work with executives, management, and subject matter experts across Panasonic. Qualifications are:
• The mission of this project is to develop a comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DRP)and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for our business. You will be working in a company with a diverse portfolio of products and solutions. The business covers operations, software development, systems, sales, order management, warehousing, supply chain, risk management and human resources to name a few. Based on executive strategy, there may be an opportunity to execute the plan.

Required:

• 5+ yrs experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans
• A certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (CDRE), or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery, Information Technology, or Risk Management.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans across multiple industries.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards such as ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34, or industry-specific requirements.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments, business impact analyses, and continuity exercises.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and cloud services.
• Understanding of data backup and recovery technologies.
