Dishwasher

Description

Responsible for washing dishes and ensuring that the dishwashing and kitchen areas are clean, organized, and meet safety requirements. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station.

Must have the ability to work in the US unrestricted. 

$18.00 - $20.00 hourly.

Requirements

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish-washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station.
• Follow weekly kitchen cleaning as scheduled. 
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, pots/pans, glassware, and all kitchen areas.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. 
• Keep all areas clean, dry, and safe for other workers
• Assist with food preparation as needed
• Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments.
• Dispose of glass in the proper containers.
• Break down cardboard boxes and place them and other recyclables in the recycle bin.
• Dispose of glass and trash in the proper containers.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and crouch.
• Must have the ability to lift to 50 lbs. including but not limited to pots, pans, and trays of food on a regular and continuing basis.
• Will be exposed to chemicals used in typical cleaning supplies.
• Works in areas of high temperatures and moisture.
• Handles sharp objects.
• Stands and walks 99% of the shift.

Qualifications:

• High School or GED preferred a one (1) year experience required in the cleaning industry preferred. 
• Ability to hear, understand, and speak basic English preferred.
