Hickory Tavern Ballantyne is a fast-paced and welcoming restaurant known for a menu that guarantees an exceptionally flavorful dining experience, returning to what propelled us to success across the Carolinas – premium ingredients and refined cooking techniques.  We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing machine or by hand
   
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, walls, trash, and food prep surfaces
   
• Properly handle and store cleaning supplies and chemicals
   
• Assist kitchen staff with unloading deliveries or food prep, if needed
   
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures
   
• Help maintain a clean and organized dish station

 Qualifications:

• one year restaurant experience, preferred   
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude  
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs  
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment  
• Must be punctual and dependable
