Dishwasher

We are seeking a dedicated Steward/Dishwasher to join our hospitality team at a high-traffic property in Seattle, WA. The Steward/Dishwasher is essential to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all dishware, cookware, and kitchen spaces meet the highest sanitation standards. Salary: $18.00/hr - Paid Weekly

Steward Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware, silverware and cooking utensils.


• Clean pots and pans.


• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service.


• Burnish, de-tarnish and polish silver.


• Stock and maintain supplies and equipment.


• Perform cleaning duties including, but not limited to mopping and trash removal.


• Train other stewards as needed.


• Prepare and set clean silverware out for events and functions.
  

Steward Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Steward, Dishwasher, or in a similar role preferred.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.


• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.


• This position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting trays or other items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  


• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
