Position Summary:

Full Time

Shift: 10:30am - 7:00pm (Monday – Friday and every other weekend)

Compensation: $12.00 -$14.50 per hour - Based on experience 

Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the glassware, china, and silverware, and maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the dish room and kitchen area. Treat residents, guests and co-workers with Dignity and Respect.

Job Duties:

• Ensure kitchen and dishroom floors are kept clean and sanitized.


• Clean all glassware, china, and silverware.


• Ensure dishwasher is kept clean inside and out (no lime); ensure there is nothing sitting on top of the dish machine.


• Ensure mats are off the floor at the end of the night.


• Keep walls clean in dishroom.


• Keep racks neat and orderly.


• Keep all stainless clean throughout the dishroom.


• Ensure dishes are stored properly.


• Ensure silverware has no spots and is stored with handles up.


• Keep bus carts clean.


• Keep Pavilion carts clean inside and out.


• Keep receiving shelf clean.


• Keep hand sink clean and make sure soap and towels are stocked.


• Helps put inventory away and keeps walk-ins and food storage areas neat and clean.


• Help in dining room (pour coffee and/or tea) when not doing dishes.


• Deliver trays to residents in their rooms when needed.


• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization and all federal and state laws regarding the privacy of protected health information.


• Responsible for welcoming and onboarding new employees


• Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:   Ability to read and write and follow directions as written.

Minimum Experience: Should have at least six months experience in and around a kitchen.
