Dishwasher

Urban Grub is seeking a diligent Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace and understands the importance of timely and thorough cleaning of kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes. The ability to work efficiently and contribute positively to our team's success is vital for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots/pans using both manual and automated methods.
• Maintain a clean and orderly dishwashing station, following all health and safety regulations.
• Assist in restocking kitchen and service items as needed.
• Remove kitchen waste and recycle materials appropriately.
• Support kitchen staff as needed, including light food preparation and cleaning tasks.
• Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude, working efficiently during high-volume periods.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• Good communication skills and willingness to follow directions.
• Flexibility to work in various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
