Welcome to George and Gather, Chandler’s all-new hangout opening February 2025, featuring gourmet from-scratch fare served daily. We are looking for a highly motivated Dishwasher to join our team.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- 1 Year minimum of experience in a high volume restaurant
- Wash, stack, sort and store dishes, glassware, utensils and cookware
- Maintain a clean and organized dish area free of clutter
- Assist with storing food and product deliveries
- Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Ensure equipment is in proper working order
- Assist with kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Monitor trash throughout shift and remove full trash during and at end of shifts
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team with various tasks
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a dishwasher is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff
- Availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
