Dishwasher

Job Description:

As a Dishwasher at IHOP, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

Job Responsibilities:
* Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a commercial dishwasher or by hand.
* Ensure all kitchenware is properly dried and stored in designated areas.
* Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including sinks, dish racks, and floors.
* Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or stocking supplies.
* Empty trash cans and maintain a clean and sanitary refuse area.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager.
* Assist with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas as required.

Job Qualifications:
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
* Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
