Dishwasher

Summary of Duties:

Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, customers, and suppliers. Position Description:

Provide skilled and efficient culinary support to the Executive Chef. This Team Member not only preps, rubs, and smokes our decadent meats, but completes our side dishes and some desserts on the smoker as well. The Asst. Pitmaster position is responsible for preparing all meats, beans, and side dishes using our smokers located on site and supporting the Pit Master in ensuring consistent food quality and service.

Position Purpose:

Provide support to the Back House. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Scrape and wash dishware, cutlery, glasses, and all cooking pots, and utensils.  
• Report any inventory shortages to the Executive Chef. 
• Ensure that all glass ware, dishes, cutlery, and cook ware is clean. 
• Operate commercial dishwasher. 
• Follow all food safety ordinances and regulations. 
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. 
• Monitor equipment and report any maintenance concerns as needed. 
• Maintain a clean and organized work area. 
• Comply with Title 31 training requirements. 
• Obtain and maintain food handler’s permit. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years.
• Requires food handler’s permit.

Licensing:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.

Work Requirements:

Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
