Dishwasher

The Hacienda Mission San Luis Rey is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cookware are cleaned efficiently to support smooth kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and cookware using commercial dishwashing equipment and by hand as needed.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen workspaces.


• Dispose of trash and recyclables properly and keep dumpster area clean.


• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and kitchen cleaning duties as required.


• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a hygienic work environment.


• Report any maintenance issues or broken equipment to management promptly.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a dishwasher or similar role preferred but not required.


• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.


• Good teamwork and communication skills.


• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
