Dishwasher

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to support our kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary dishes, utensils, cookware, kitchen equipment, and work areas while helping the kitchen operate efficiently.

Job Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Load and unload commercial dishwashing machines.
• Scrape and pre-rinse dishes before washing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Sweep, mop, and clean floors as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and food-preparation tasks when needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Report broken or damaged equipment to a supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies as needed.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Must follow proper sanitation and safety procedures.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.
• Frequent exposure to water, heat, cleaning products, and kitchen equipment.
• Position requires standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required
