What You Will Do

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, dish room, and storage areas.


• Assist cooks with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing recipes.


• Stock and replenish kitchen supplies and food items.


• Receive, organize, and store deliveries according to food safety standards.


• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.


• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.


• Assist with banquet and restaurant preparation as needed.


• Remove trash and recycling, and maintain clean work areas throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, dishwasher, restaurant, hotel, or food service experience preferred but not required.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong work ethic and reliability.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety.


• Must be able to stand for extended periods.


• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.


• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
