Dishwasher - Bar Harbor Inn & Spa

The Bar Harbor Inn & Spa is looking for a hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team for the 2025 season. This full-time seasonal position is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and understands the importance of cleanliness, teamwork, and reliability.

As a Dishwasher, you’ll play a vital role in our kitchen operations, keeping our culinary team equipped and our dining spaces running efficiently. Whether you have experience or are looking for a foot in the door in hospitality, we’ll provide the tools and training to help you succeed.

Please note: We do not currently have employee housing available for this role. Candidates must live within driving distance of Bar Harbor, Maine.

Key Responsibilities:

  Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure proper handling and organization of clean dishware

  Maintain cleanliness of the dish station, kitchen floors, and trash areas

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with basic kitchen prep as needed

  Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

  Follow health and safety standards at all times

  Communicate promptly with chefs and supervisors about any equipment issues
