Job Description:

Chick-fil-A at Shepherdstown Crossing is seeking a FULL-TIME Dishwasher

Keep the kitchen at Chick-fil-A Shepherdstown Crossing running at a high level. Our dishwasher keeps clean pans, utensils, and equipment flowing to the kitchen team all shift long. We can't function without you! Shifts fall between 11:00 AM and 10:30 PM, Monday through Saturday. We're always closed on Sundays.

Position Type:

• Full-Time
• Daytime or Closing Shifts
• Must have Friday and Saturday Availability (We are closed on Sundays)

What you'll do:

• Wash and sanitize pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment so the kitchen never runs short
• Wash dishes by hand and also using a commercial dishwashing machine
• Keep the dish area clean, organized, and safe
• Take out trash, rinse garbage cans, and sweep and mop the kitchen
• Perform filter scrapes on our machines
• Help unload truck deliveries and pitch in on other kitchen tasks when needed
• Follow all food safety procedures

What we're looking for:

• Consistent and reliable; no experience needed - we'll train you
• Works quickly and keeps things organized
• Saturday availability
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Genuinely friendly and positive attitude
• Must be 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
• Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
• Ability to do rigorous work, including standing for up to 8 hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Education/Experience:

• Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required
• ServSafe is a plus but not required
