We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Steward. As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and utensils. You will work closely with the chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a clean and safe environment. 

Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes

- Sweep and mop floors, and wipe down surfaces

- Ensure proper disposal of garbage and recyclables

- Assist with food prep and stocking inventory when needed

- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines

- Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel

- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
