Dishwasher/Prep Cook

Job Summary
The Dishwasher/Prep Cook at Embassy Suites Jackson/Ridgeland, MS is responsible for cleaning and prepping all utensils, dishes, and tables. The successful candidate must have a good sense of sanitation, in order to ensure the cleanliness of the dining and kitchen areas. The Prep Cook will also be responsible for prepping food items for cooking, as well as stocking ingredients according to established protocols.

Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, hourly role with competitive hourly wages that will be based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities
• Clean utensils, dishes, and other kitchenware
• Sanitize all kitchen areas
• Prepare food items for cooking
• Ensure proper storage of food items, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
• Assist cooks in food preparations
• Stock kitchen areas with ingredients and other food items
• Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations

Requirements
• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience working in restaurants/kitchens
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Knowledge of basic kitchen sanitation
• Understanding of food safety regulations
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
