JOB SUMMARY

As a Dishmachine Operator (DMO) at Bear Tooth, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment used in our kitchens and restaurants are clean, sanitized, and organized. We are currently looking for applicants with open availability and have AM and PM shifts available. We are hiring for full-time and part-time positions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
2. Gather bins of dishes and supplies from the kitchens
3. Organize dishes, utensils, and equipment for cleaning
4. Safely handle and change out dish machine chemicals as needed
5. Wash, sanitize, and dry all dishes and restaurant equipment
6. Deliver dishes, utensils, and equipment to their designated locations
7. Promptly report equipment quality issues to a Manager
8. Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
9. Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect

Requirements

Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Handlers Card. Previous dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.

Skills, Abilities & Work Conditions

1. Stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
2. Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
3. Lift and carry 30+ lbs
4. Work in a hot, humid, and occasionally loud environment
5. Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
6. Stack and place items on high and low shelves
7. Bend, reach, stoop, and move quickly
8. Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
9. Take direction and work well with multiple personality types
