Overhead Door Company is hiring a Dispatch and Collections Specialist for a full-time position in Denville, NJ.
We are looking for a Dispatch and Collections Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of technicians and salespersons. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. This position will schedule and dispatch technicians to job locations, salespersons to estimates and owners to various locations. You'll answer calls in a timely manner and serve as a liaison with customers to schedule workers and/or provide solutions over the phone. This role also maintains accurate attendance rosters of technicians and helpers on the dispatch board, monitors all schedule routes, and provides customers and other departments with job updates. In addition, this position with be the lead on customer contact for collections on due and past due invoices.
***Must have dispatching and or collections experience to be considered for this position***
Previous Reception (Multi Line), Scheduling or Dispatch Experience in a High-Volume environment will be beneficial. We will provide on-the-job training.
Responsibilities:
· Communicating with customers, technicians, salespersons, office staff and managers.
· Heavy telephone contact.
· Planning and revising work schedules throughout the day.
· Strong ability to prioritize.
· Responding to scheduling changes.
· Relaying pertinent information to the Technician/Salesperson/Manager.
· Handling emergency phone calls in accordance with established procedures.
· Continuous customer contact for collections on due and past due invoices.
Skills & Experience:
· High level of interpersonal skills needed to communicate with internal and external customers in a calm, courteous and professional manner.
· Knowledge of scheduling, routing and basic geography of New Jersey is a plus.
· Able to work with little supervision.
· Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Gmail, and Scheduling/Dispatch software. Computer savvy and able to learn new software quickly.
· CRM - ServiceTitan experience a plus.
· Professional, courteous telephone voice and manner.
· Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently; Excellent organization and follow up skills.
· Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Schedule:
· Monday through Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm
· Some scheduled Saturdays work
Pay Rate:
· Hourly Rate: $20/Hr Starting. Commensurate with experience
