Dispatch Coordinator

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate daily dispatch
  operations by scheduling and assigning shipments based on driver
  availability, routes, and delivery requirements
  
• Communicate with drivers throughout
  the day to monitor shipment progress, address delays and resolve issues
  quickly
  
• Partner with warehouse and customer
  service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  
• Track shipment activity, prepare
  and maintain accurate dispatch records and reports
  
• Troubleshoot logistical challenges
  including delays, route changes, and equipment issues, vehicle breakdowns
  promptly and efficiently
  
• Ensure compliance with
  transportation regulations, safety standards, and company procedures
  
• Support operational improvements
  and assist in onboarding and training new team members
  

What We Are Looking For

• Strong organizational and communication skills
  with the ability to coordinate multiple shipments and collaborate
  effectively with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers
  
• Proven problem -solving abilities to quickly
  resolve delays, equipment issues, and other operational challenges in a
  fast -paced environment
  
• Experience in dispatching,
  logistics, transportation, or warehouse coordination
  
• Comfortable working with dispatch
  software, transportation systems, and Microsoft Office
  
• Ability to remain calm and
  adaptable in a fast -moving environment
  
• Customer -focused mindset with
  strong attention to detail
  
• Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate
  performance data, identify operational improvements, and drive more
  efficient service delivery
  
• Proficiency in dispatch software and
  transportation management systems for efficient route scheduling and
  real -time shipment tracking
  

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Previous experience in dispatch
  coordination or logistics operations
  
• Knowledge of transportation
  regulations and safety standards
  
• Proficiency with dispatch systems
  and Microsoft Office Suite
  

Preferred

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in
  Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  
• Experience with Transportation
  Management Systems (TMS) and route optimization tools
  
• Familiarity with warehouse
  operations and inventory management
  
• Data analysis or reporting
  experience
  
• Customer service experience in a
  logistics environment
