Dispatch Support Specialist

M.A. Wolf Trucking Inc. is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Dispatch Support Specialist to join our team and enhance overall operational efficiency. This role is based in our Slinger, WI office and requires a dynamic individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple responsibilities.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a manner that prioritizes safety.
• Interact with customers via multi-line phone system, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
• Communicate openly and efficiently with all route and transport fuel team members.
• Work weekends or extended hours on a rotational basis.
• Coordinate portable tanks in conjunction with dispatch functions.
• Gain proficiency in both the route and transport dispatch system to provide backup during vacations or absences.
• Participate in cross-training to support various business segments.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with customers, drivers, and coworkers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus.
• Strong scheduling and organizational skills for efficient route preparation and assignment.
• Basic understanding of geographical areas and mapping programs for effective routing.
• Proficient with or able to quickly learn dispatch and record-keeping systems.
• Comfort working in a shared space with multiple ongoing conversations.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree in a related field is preferred.
• M.A. Wolf is willing to train the right candidate.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
