We are hiring a Dispatcher in the Fort Worth office. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient communication between drivers and the operations team. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to providing excellent service. The Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling multiple locations within the district.

Dispatcher Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for drivers, ensuring accuracy and maintaining a two week schedule at all times
• Extensive collaboration with Operations and Branch Managers to ensure proper utilization rates are maintained
• Communicate effectively with drivers using phone systems to provide real-time updates
• Monitor fleet operations and manage day-to-day activities
• Input and maintain accurate data
• Respond promptly to any issues or delays that arise during transportation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the supply chain
• Work closely with the Finance Department, i.e. Billers and Operations Specialists, to ensure expeditious and accurate invoicing 

Requirements

Competencies:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively relay information
• Basic understanding of the supply chain, logistics, and fleet management systems
• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SAP, and ERP systems or similar software is required
• Basic understanding of environmental response route optimization is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
