Dispatcher

Description

The Dispatcher oversees all of the dispatch operations throughout the company. The Dispatcher is in charge of making sure that all of the individual terminals @ Quantix work together when it comes to moving equipment to cover freight. The positions main focus is to ensure A&R Dispatchers and Managers handle freight while striving to do what’s best for the entire company, and not just in each individual terminal.

The Central Dispatch manager is also in charge of the Central Dispatchers. The manager is responsible for tracking vacation time, sick time, swap days, etc. for these employees.

Central Dispatch

A Central Dispatcher helps to oversee all of the dispatch operations throughout the entire company. Central Dispatchers work with individual terminal dispatchers to help find the most cost effective way to put equipment in the right areas to maximize profits on freight hauled by Quantix.

Requirements

Minimum requirements

• Transportation industry dispatch experience
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Ability to plan efficiently with drivers and equipment to provide superior service
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Superior decision-making skills
• Self-Starter
• Professional telephone manner
