As a Dispatcher for Baton Rouge Cargo Service, Inc., you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation services for our customers in an efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Receive and dispatch orders for transportation services

Monitor driver routes and provide necessary updates

Communicate with consignees and drivers to ensure on-time delivery

Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities

Qualification Requirements

Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of geographical areas and routing principles

Proficiency in computer systems and software

Preferred Skills:

Associate Degree

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Experience with TMS (Transportation Management Software) and systems

Knowledge of transportation routes and regulations

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior experience in dispatching or a related field

Familiarity with dispatch software and systems
