Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatcher for our commercial kitchen equipment service company. In this role, you will be the central point of communication and coordination for our field service technicians. Your ability to prioritize, think critically, and communicate clearly will ensure that our service operations run efficiently and customers receive timely support.

Responsibilities:

Receive incoming service requests from customers and accurately input details into the dispatch system

Assign service calls to technicians based on skillset, geographic location, and availability

Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure they are equipped with the correct information and tools

Monitor real-time job progress and provide customers with timely updates

Maintain detailed records of service calls, including technician assignments, arrival and completion times

Respond to customer inquiries and resolve scheduling or service-related concerns

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient and aligned service operations

Assist in planning and scheduling preventive maintenance and follow-up service appointments

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a related role preferred

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment

Proficiency with dispatch or scheduling software and general computer applications

Effective communication and customer service skills

Ability to stay composed and make timely decisions under pressure

Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment is a plus

Compensation: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
