Job Summary:

The OTR / Local Dedicated Dispatcher will manage Beemac's Houston fleet, ensuring 24/7 customer service for a client with a dynamic and ever-changing schedule.  The position is exempt.  The work schedule is Monday – Friday with being on-call when projects occur.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Relations: Work directly with clients to ensure all transportation needs are met consistently and efficiently.
• Customer Service: Provide top-notch service and respond promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
• Drive Retention: Foster positive relationships with drivers to enhance retention and job satisfaction.
• Asset Utilization: Optimize the use of owner-operators and resources to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Driver Safety and Compliance: Ensure drivers adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate and dispatch drivers according to the client's needs, ensuring timely deliveries while looking for Backhauls daily.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or equivalent work experience in the same field.  
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in operations, dispatch or a related field.
• Occasional travel to other facilities, not exceeding 10% of the time. 

Work Environment:
The role is based in an industrial office setting. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers will be used daily.

Physical Demands:
This position involves lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and occasionally retrieving equipment from the shop. Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
