Dispatcher

Summary

The Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling truck and equipment moves to jobsites, keeping track of heavy equipment and serves as a point of contact in the Dispatch officefor crews and superintendents.

Essential Functions

•  Schedule all tractor trailer lowboy/tanker moves.
•  Request and obtain DOT oversize load permits as required
•  Distribute vehicle/equipment keys according to schedule and record any changes
•  Track and file daily vehicle pre and post trip inspection forms
•  Track all heavy equipment and keep whiteboard and Excel schedule up to date
•  Issue daily labor and equipment schedules for Site and Industrial crews
•  Complete the PA/MD One Call process and keep a log of expiration dates
•  Complete customer work order billing process, tabulate Columbia Gas scatteredpatch measurements for billing purposes.
•  Maintain overall field Microsoft Project schedule with input from Superintendents
•  Other duties as assigned
