We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing the logistics of vehicle transport, ensuring that every ride is handled with the utmost care and efficiency. You will be the communication hub between drivers, customers, and management, responsible for scheduling pickups and deliveries, tracking transportation progress, and resolving any issues that arise during transit. Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule transportation of motorcycles, trikes, ATVs, side-by-sides, golf carts, and specialty vehicles across Northern California.
Communicate effectively with drivers to provide clear instructions, updates, and route adjustments as needed.
Monitor transportation progress and ensure timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining high safety standards.
Handle customer inquiries, provide status updates, and resolve any transportation-related concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including vehicle tracking, scheduling details, and incident reports.
Collaborate with management and other team members to optimize routing and resource allocation for efficient operations.
Assist in identifying and troubleshooting logistical challenges to minimize delays and ensure damage-free transport.
Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar logistics coordination role, preferably in vehicle or specialty transport.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with drivers, customers, and team members.
Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to remain calm and problem-solve under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
Knowledge of Northern California geography and route planning to assist in efficient transport coordination.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction and safe transport practices.
