Western Building Supply is seeking a sharp, highly organized Dispatcher to take command of our delivery logistics and support systems. This is a pivotal, high-trust role at the intersection of production, field execution, and customer experience. Your work ensures customers feel taken care of, teams stay aligned, and jobs run smoothly from shop to site.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Dispatch Logistics

• Coordinate and schedule all outbound deliveries to ensure on-time, in-full arrival at job sites
  
  


• Maintain proactive communication with drivers, production, and customers regarding timelines, delays, or changes
  
  


• Resolve delivery issues, routing conflicts, and jobsite complications with urgency and professionalism
  
  


• Track delivery performance, route efficiency, and fulfillment accuracy
  
  


• Support permitting workflows and ensure jobsite delivery readiness
  
  

Systems & Process Ownership

• Maintain dispatch boards, driver schedules, and delivery records in Paradigm and internal systems
  
  


• Collaborate with production to prioritize outgoing orders based on readiness and urgency
  
  


• Identify backorders, material shortages, and substitutions early and follow through on resolution
  
  


• Participate in continuous improvement and SOP development for logistics and dispatch
  
  

Requirements

• 2+ years in dispatching, logistics coordination, or construction delivery scheduling
  
  


• High attention to detail across schedules, quantities, and communication
  
  


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  


• Strong competency with spreadsheets, internal tracking platforms, and route optimization tools
  
  


• Ability to triage competing priorities and stay calm under pressure
