Dispensing Pharmacy Technician (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM Shift)
📍 Location: On-site – Revive Rx Pharmacy, Houston, Texas
📅 Schedule: Full-time | Monday to Friday | 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
At Revive Rx Pharmacy, located in Houston, Texas, we’re rapidly expanding and looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Dispensing Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a tech-forward, fast-paced environment that goes beyond traditional retail or hospital pharmacy work. You’ll be on the front lines of prescription fulfillment, patient communication, and medication preparation—all while being cross-trained in compounding and clinical support.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Dispensing & Operations
Accurately process and dispense prescriptions in compliance with state and federal regulations
Ensure prescriptions are properly labeled, packaged, and verified before delivery or pickup
Maintain clean, compliant, and organized workstations throughout the shift
Support daily workflow across multiple pharmacy departments as needed
🔹 Inventory & Documentation
Track and manage inventory of medications and supplies
Assist with non-sterile and sterile compounding preparation (as trained)
File and archive prescription records according to regulatory standards
🔹 Cross-Training Opportunities
Gain hands-on experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding
Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians across dispensing, fulfillment, and clinical coordination
Participate in continuous training to grow your technical and operational skills
Qualifications & Requirements
Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (Required)
Experience: 1+ year in a pharmacy setting (Preferred, not required)
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Technical Skills: Comfortable using pharmacy software, cloud tools, and mobile platforms
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, dependable time management, and excellent communication
