Job Description - Distribution

The ideal candidate is an energetic individual, a team player, and can provide services necessary for the efficient operation of Ameraflex. This is an In-Person position located in Deer Park, Texas, with operating hours of M - F, 8AM - 5PM. This position will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT OR NOT LIMITED TO:

Pulling orders
Stage items in Global Shop system
Issue material to machines and hose shop
Issue materials in Global Shop system
Cycle counting
Put away Stock
Locate new items
Back up Receiving during lunch or when needed
Operate forklift and order picker
Keep distribution area clean

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous distribution experience required in:
- Pulling orders
- Staging items
- Issuing materials
- Cycle counting
Previous experience using Global Shop system a plus but not required
Previous experience operating a forklift and order picker
Ability to stand, sit and/or constantly move for extended periods of time
Ability to lift a least 50 lbs., sometimes more
Ability to climb a ladder
Ability to read a tape measure
Must be able to communicate orally and in writing
Must be able to follow written and oral directions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Must be dependable and consistent in attendance
Must have a good work ethic and a positive attitude
Ability to work with other personnel effectively and respond to questions from managers
