Position Overview: Distribution Assistant
We’re seeking a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced Shipping and Receiving environment. As a Distribution Assistant, you’ll help manage raw materials, packaging, and finished goods inventory levels. This role requires the operation of forklifts, computers, and handheld scanners.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM 
• Occasional Overtime, including Saturdays
   

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, WIP, packaging, and finished goods.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners. 
• Load and unload multiple trailers daily. 
• Build skids for customer orders. 
• Process and ship finished goods. 
• Communicate with production supervisors regarding product availability. 
• Receive, document, and store incoming shipments. 
• Keep storage and warehouse areas clean and organized. 
• Use computers to update material records. 
• Ensure accurate and timely paperwork. 
• Maintain accuracy in all inbound/outbound shipments. 
• Collaborate with team members across departments. 
• Follow attendance and safety guidelines. 
• Assist in manufacturing operations as needed.

Requirements

• High School or GED completion preferred
• Knowledge of warehousing and distribution as well as material handling equipment experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently
• Basic math and computer skills required
• Must be able to communicate with employees and management in an effective verbal and written manner
