Position Overview: We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Distribution Assistant to join our shipping and receiving team. In this role, you’ll ensure the efficient and accurate flow of materials, maintain inventory levels, and play a key part in achieving ZERO shipping defects. If you’re a self-starter who excels in a dynamic environment with little supervision, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trailers and verify incoming shipments against packing slips.
• Prepare outgoing shipments with precision, ensuring proper labeling and paperwork.
• Access customer portals and manage material files using computer systems.
• Support periodic inventory efforts, including cycle counts.
• Foster teamwork, adhere to safety standards, and assist production as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven forklift experience and proficiency in shipping/receiving documentation.
• Knowledge of the trucking industry, compliance standards, and strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency in computers and material management systems.
• Self-motivation, reliability, and a task-driven mindset with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and maintain a strong attendance record.
• High school diploma or GED preferred (RPS forklift certification required).

Shift Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 7 AM–3 PM or 8 AM–4 PM.
• Occasional overtime, including Saturdays.
