Job Summary

Georgia Power is seeking an experienced Distribution Engineer – Technical Trainer with 5–10 years of distribution engineering experience to develop and deliver technical training for engineering teams. This role combines hands-on distribution engineering expertise with training, mentoring, and coaching to ensure engineers are aligned with company standards, design practices, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

· Develop and deliver technical training for Distribution Engineering.

· Create and maintain training materials and curriculum.

· Train engineers on distribution system design, standards, and best practices.

· Mentor and coach engineers to improve technical skills.

· Reinforce safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

· Support continuous improvement of training programs.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)

· 5–10 years of distribution engineering experience

· Experience training, mentoring, or coaching engineers

· Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and engineering standards

· Excellent communication and presentation skills
