EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

·        This position requires a high school diploma.

EXPERIENCE

·        Three to five (3-5) years of Materials Management experience including receiving, stocking and systems knowledge.

·        A valid / current driver’s license is required for travel between business sites.

COMPETENCIES

·        This position also requires strong verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and leadership qualities.

·        The daily nature of work requires that the incumbent in this position be capable of independently lifting to 50lbs.

The Greater Manchester Region has approximately 2,500 employees. It includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General, a campus of Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 102-bed facility, a large multispecialty provider group and visiting nurse services. The Greater Manchester Region serves a region of 300,000 people in 19 towns.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Designs and implements systems for managing Operating Room supplies. Coordinates the planning, replenishment, and delivery of Operating Room supplies. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls inventory levels, stock replenishment, and order placement to optimize PAR levels within the Operating Room; providing products appropriate to each day OR schedule.  Oversees, inspects, and assists in the supervision of the Manchester and will back up  Rockville Stock Rooms and Receiving areas sets PAR (Product Auto Replenishment levels) and ensures inventory accuracy.  Assists with product transfer between facilities. Assists pulling orders, receiving, and restocking when needed. Helps all departments with product related problems, issues, or questions. Supply Supper visor  reports directly to the Distribution Manager.
