The District Group Fitness Coordinator is responsible for the overall direction, supervision, and quality of group fitness programs across multiple TruFit locations. This leader recruits and develops instructors, ensures program excellence, and collaborates with club management to deliver an exceptional member experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for group fitness instructors across clubs.

- Recruit, audition, hire, onboard, and coach instructors; conduct class evaluations.

- Ensure effective class scheduling and programming in collaboration with club leaders.

- Monitor attendance trends and make adjustments to improve engagement and class quality.

- Plan and staff special events and ancillary classes.

- Maintain studio cleanliness and safety; use Fitness EMS to report facility needs.

- Handle member feedback professionally to resolve service concerns.

- Teach 2–3 classes weekly; coordinate substitute coverage as needed.

- Submit bi-weekly payroll for group fitness instructors.

- Track KPIs including class per head (CPH), audits, and attendance metrics.

- Conduct monthly equipment inventory and report needs to the Director of Group Fitness.

- Minimum 2 years of group fitness leadership at a large club.

- Strong verbal and written communication; ability to lead and inspire instructors.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher).

- National Group Fitness or Personal Training Certification (ISSE, ACE, NASM, AFAA, NETA).

- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required.

- High school diploma or GED.

- Ability to travel within the assigned district and work flexible hours as needed.
