Your Impact


Serving as CRG’s District Kitchen Lead your core responsibilities will be to oversee, supervise and develop Back of the House (BOH) staff; as well as maintain food quality and consistency across multiple CRG locations. You will work collaboratively with our executive team to ensure proper back of the house operations and to enhance the customer experience. You will also be charged with upholding company-wide policies and safety and sanitation standards. As CRG’s District Kitchen Lead  you will play a critical role in training and coaching BOH staff. You know that proper training, holding staff accountable to standards and coaching in- the-moment are pivotal to maintaining a positive work culture.


Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:


Food Consistency & Control: uphold food quality standards through



  • Regularly testing for food consistency and quality

  • Problem-solving food inconsistencies in the moment and educating staff on common fixes

  • Conducting regular inventory across CRG locations

  • Assisting with prep list adjustments and edits

  • Overseeing kitchen ordering and submitting food and kitchen supply orders in a timely manner

  • Assisting with new menu item roll-out across CRG locations

  • Developing and translating recipe builds in conjunction with the executive team

  • Acquiring a deep knowledge of CRG menus; including but not limited to ingredients, plating, and allergens



Daily Operations: streamline back of the house operations through..



  • Implementing company-wide policies, procedures and standards of operation 

  • Overseeing and maintaining safety and sanitation standards

  • Proactively monitoring labor costs with the assistance of the executive team

  • Creating back of the house schedules with labor costs and employee performance in mind

  • Collaborating with the executive team to oversee kitchen maintenance and repair 



Training & Supervision: Continue to develop BOH staff through…



  • Consistent coaching and making corrections in the moment

  • Actively working to develop BOH staff’s skills

  • Assisting with BOH training across CRG locations



Leadership: Role-model effective leadership through…



  • Exhibiting professionalism, poise and compassion

  • Consistently coaching with constructive feedback

  • Internalizing a responsibility for developing oneself and staff

  • Collaborating with kitchen leadership and other CRG departments to ensure compliance, effective operations, and growth

  • Cultivating a culture of accountability
