District Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Dayton Association District - Centerville, OH
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm, with an on-call rotation

Competitive Pay: up to $25 hourly (based on experience and qualifications)

Who You Are:

• 2+ years of direct experience in general maintenance.
• Residential exterior carpentry and general remodeling experience required, including painting, drywall repair, minor plumbing and electrical work, gutter and downspout cleaning and repair, as well as expertise in door and gate hardware repairs and wood trim replacement. 
• Effective communication skills and proficiency in basic computer or smartphone use. 
• Comfortable working on ladders to perform roof and siding repairs and gutter cleaning.
• Must own basic hand tools for work use.
• Valid driver’s license with a reliable truck or van and auto-insurance for work use.
• Willing to submit to a drug and background check if offered this position.

What You Will Do as a Maintenance Technician:

• Perform various maintenance tasks from service requests for Condominium & Homeowner Associations.
• Keep grounds and landscape in tip-top shape.
• Work on ladders, roofs, gutters/downspouts, carpentry, wood trim replacement, club house maintenance, painting, etc.
• Provide customer service to homeowners and Board of Directors. 
• Manage priorities and competing demands in a busy environment.
