Job Description - District Manager

Description

We’re looking for a hands-on, people-first District Manager to lead and support a team of Sales Representatives stationed at partner car dealerships. This role is focused on leadership, coaching, and operational excellence. You’ll be the key point of accountability for team development, performance coaching, and dealership relationship management across your assigned territory, ensuring that your team is trained, equipped, and representing the brand with excellence.


Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in multi-site team management, account management, or territory supervision
  • Experience managing field-based or retail sales teams strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop frontline employees
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and professional presence with external partners
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Familiarity with automotive, dealership, or aftermarket services is a plus
  • Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel regularly across assigned territory

Sales Team Management & Coaching

  • Directly oversee a team of Sales Representatives across multiple dealership locations
  • Train new reps and provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and support
  • Monitor sales metrics and ensure reps are meeting KPIs and service expectations
  • Conduct regular audits and check-ins to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Create staffing plans and assist with hiring and onboarding new reps in your district

Dealership Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned dealerships within your territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealership leadership and staff
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance service quality, resolve concerns, and increase satisfaction
  • Partner with dealership management to understand their needs and ensure alignment with our services
  • Support rollout of new programs, promotions, or initiatives at the dealership level

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure reps are compliant with company policies, dealership protocols, and any regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Sales Ops, Marketing) to address team needs and support operations
  • Track field activities, submit reporting, and provide feedback to leadership for continuous improvement
