District Sales Manager - Southshore Region

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve district sales goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to maximize their performance and professional growth.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within the Southshore district.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and supply chain, to ensure alignment of business objectives.
• Analyze sales data and generate reports to track progress, identify challenges, and propose actionable solutions.
• Conduct regular field visits and sales meetings to support team members and reinforce district sales strategies.
• Drive customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and ensuring the timely resolution of any issues.
• Manage district budget and optimize resource allocation to achieve optimal sales results.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards in all sales activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the foodservice industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in a defined territory.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing sales teams.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to travel within the Southshore district as required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy and Planning: Developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share within the assigned district. 
• Team Management: Leading, motivating, and mentoring a team of sales representatives, providing coaching and performance feedback. 
• Sales Target Setting and Achievement: Setting sales targets, monitoring performance against those targets, and implementing strategies to drive sales growth. 
• Market Analysis and Trend Identification: Analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies. 
• Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, both existing and potential. 
• Budget Management: Managing the district sales budget and ensuring efficient resource allocation. 
• Reporting and Analysis: Preparing sales reports, analyzing sales data, and providing insights to senior management. 
• Training and Development: Providing training and development opportunities for sales representatives to enhance their skills and performance. 
• Compliance: Ensuring that all sales activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures. 
• Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to support sales efforts.
