Job Description - Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB), Project Manager

The DEIB Project Manager will design and execute various DEIB programming and projects that align with EF Education First values under the direction of the Director of DEIB. This impactful role is charged with helping create a DEIB environment of learning, partnerships, discovery, and ERG-leadership development opportunities that help facilitate the implementation of EF Educations First DEIB pillars. The project manager is highly accountable for both project development and execution from start to completion.

Your Responsibilities:

* Manage and advise EF North America DEIB Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).* Research, recommend, develop, and execute strategies to support the DEIB ERGs in line with the organization's goals to increase representation and belonging.* Provide project management guidance to DEIB ERGs in the development of group events, internal/external resources, communication messaging, marketing, and execution.* Collect and maintain DEIB ERG membership data and manage Microsoft SharePoint resources.* Ensure the current guidance and policies for the DEIB ERGs are assessed and analyzed to support the changes, growth, and development of the DEIB membership groups.* Work with multiple stakeholders on internal/external DEIB programming and the coordination and execution of events.* Build and grow strong relationships with internal stakeholders and leaders across the organization.* Build external DEIB community relationships and partnerships.* Maintain knowledge of and best practices regarding DEIB-related issues that impact the community.* Travel quarterly and organize meetings in the Americas and Canada offices to plan, inform, and update staff on organizational-wide DEIB events, projects, ERG support, and efforts.* Identify opportunities to link DEIB initiatives with ongoing business priorities and EF's core values.* Develop and/or acquire DEIB-specific training and development to stay up to date on DEIB initiatives and practices.* Performs other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proven conflict resolution skills.* Proven knowledge of DEIB best practices.* Thorough understanding of DEIB ERG functions and their organizational community purpose.* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.* Strong project management and problem-solving skills.* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, creative software, and social media.* At least five years of people relations or related experience specializing in human resources and/or diversity programs.* Amazing social skills and the ability to develop credible relationships with staff and leadership.* Ability to manage many projects, timelines, and teams at the same time.* Knowledge of the EF Education First culture and business products.

Physical Requirements:

* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.* Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.* Must be able to sit at minimum 4hrs for travel.
