Description Responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support for assigned human resource client group by establishing strong partnerships to keep leader(s) and the HR team organized and focused on delivering business results. Maintain organization, confidentiality and require limited direction. Ensure HR compliance requirements are administered based on local, state and federal requirements. Responsibilities - Support HR leader and team with a high level of service and timely responses - Manage department priorities and internal/external inquiries - Support the administration and tracking of local, state and federal laws, collective bargaining agreements and related policies - Support the onboarding and off-boarding experience for HR associates - Manage HR leader's calendar, travel itinerary, expense reports, mail and emails - Transcribe and/or compose letters, memos and meeting minutes - Maintain organization of the department, manage files, order supplies and technological equipment for HR associates - Submit and approve HR system access in partnership with technology - Partner with other HR administrators to manage timekeeping system to ensure associates are paid accurately and serve as a backup for other teams as needed - Ensure HR leader(s) have coordinated meetings to coach, develop and build the HR team - Identify and implement process improvement opportunities - Extract or request reports to enable HR leader(s) to make data driven decisions - Coordinate rewards and recognition for HR associates - Support HR team with special ad-hoc projects - Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications Minimum - High School Diploma or GED - 2+ years of experience as an administrative assistant for human resource department or other related field - Professional, dependable, possess positive attitude, good judgment, and ability to gain the support of others to get the job done
- Prior knowledge of process improvement strategies - Strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task - Experience working with an HRIS system and other HR related technology systems which include HR files, payroll, time and attendance, automated benefit enrollments, or related technical solutions - Ability to proactively problem-solve and work independently - Self-motivated, able to organize, prioritize, plan, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality - Proficient Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new computer skills - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written at all levels within the organization
