About the Role
The Company is seeking a Divisional Vice President - Annuity Wholesaler to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling Annuity products through an assigned distribution network, which includes brokers/dealers. This role involves working from a home office and covering a specific territory in Central and Northern NJ, as well as parts of NY. The Divisional Vice President will be expected to travel within the territory in a pre-designated loop format, conducting office presentations, one-on-one meetings with registered representatives, and participating in various meetings and training sessions. The primary objectives include maximizing territory performance, increasing sales, and developing deep, ongoing relationships with accounts.Applicants must have a proven aptitude in financial services or related experience, with at least 3 years of successful outside sales experience managing a territory and meeting sales quotas. The role requires an adept public speaker with the necessary licenses, including FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63, and NJ and NY Life and Health. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic territorial plan, becoming a recognized product line and industry expert, and establishing a professional selling process. A BA/BS or equivalent work experience is also a requirement. The Divisional Vice President will be expected to work closely with internal wholesaling partners and be committed to the values of diversity and inclusion promoted by the company.
